No one has dedicated more time and effort to
Trojan Baseball than Trojan Hall of Honor member Mrs. Marian Campbell.
Mrs. Campbell came to almost every
Olympic High School game between 1980 and 2000 while watching her son,
Trojan Head Coach Robin Campbell run the Olympic High School Baseball
program.
She worked tirelessly as the
team's official scorekeeper and never missed a game from 1980 until
her husband, Coach Campbell's dad, became ill in 1997.
Each year she volunteered to put on the
traditional end of season player banquets while acting as surrogate mom to all of the players,
coaches, and anyone else involved in Trojan baseball.
Once Robin's father retired, they both made
it to every game Olympic played home and away until Robin's father passed away
while scouting a game at North Kitsap High School.
