My research question:  Should America stop exporting democracy?

My purpose:  To convince readers that America should not be exporting democracy

My audience:  Americans, citizens of countries directly affected by America's exportation

My working thesis statement:  "The U.S. must stop this force-feed [of democracy], because past experiences, the present differences, and future consequences all point to no."

            The Timeline is a viable source, compiled from Fergal Keane's Season of Blood and Alain Destexhe's Rwanda and Genocide in the Twentieth Century.  PBS is a nationally respected information resource.  The information was used as background on reference to Rwanda genocides.  The source is no older than 2000.
