The unofficial mascot of
Olympic High School Library.
The Distinguished Reader Program is a reading incentive
and reward program developed by the Central Kitsap School District in
cooperation with the Kitsap Regional Library System. All Olympic High School
students are encouraged to participate in this ongoing program.
Participation is simple:
Read ten (10) books from recommended reading lists or by approval. Lists are
available from the OHS Library and at
CKSD's Distinguished Reader Web Page.
Discuss each book with your school librarian, teacher, or Kitsap Regional
Librarian and get a signature on the program form.
Turn in the signed form to your school librarian or Kitsap Regional Library.
This is a cooperative venture between the Central Kitsap School District and
Kitsap Regional Library librarians and records will be maintained in both
systems.
