On the road again. The Lant family summer vacation for 2006 was an example of the great American road trip. It seems that every family takes such a trip sometime during the "formative years". It was our turn to give it a try. We made arrangements, packed up the car, and hit the open road. Our trip to Minnesota to visit family included many stops along the way. We drove through all kinds of weather and over various types of terrain. There were times when our patience was tested, and despite a disagreement or two, family harmony was enjoyed most of the time.

We enjoyed three days at my aunt and uncle's home on Flathead Lake in Montana
